Draw it, then alert on it
Use the drawing tools on the chart to place a trendline, a channel or a horizontal level, then click its bell to turn it into an alert. Because the line slopes with time, the alert level moves with it; you do not need to edit a price every day.
Choose how it triggers
Click the bell on a line and pick one of three triggers: price crosses up (closes above the line), crosses down (closes below it), or crosses in either direction. A horizontal line gives you a price-level alert in one click.
Draw it into the future
The same chart you analyse on is the one that is monitored. A trendline alert stays active until the end of the line you drew, so extend the line forward in time.

Questions
Do I need to update the alert as time passes?
No. A trendline alert follows the line you drew as it slopes across time, until the line ends.
